Bereits in der Steinzeit besiedelten Menschen den Raum um G\u00f6teborg. Besondere Bedeutung erlangte G\u00f6teborg, als die Stadt freien Zugang zur Nordsee gew\u00e4hrte, w\u00e4hrend D\u00e4nemark den Zugang zur Ostsee kontrollierte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im 20. Jahrhundert war G\u00f6teborg ein wichtiger Sitz der Textilindustrie. Durch instabilen Untergrund scheuerten sich die Lager der Webst\u00fchle einseitig ab. Wir suchen in der N\u00e4he unseres Hotel etwas zu Essen und&nbsp;werden schnell wir im Lagerhuset am Hafen f\u00fcndig. Immer wieder faszinieren uns die klaren Farben&nbsp;der Sommerabende im Norden. Ihr Name ist Pia und sie lebt in Schweden. Als&nbsp;wir auf das Thema Reisen zu sprechen kommen&nbsp;erz\u00e4hlt sie uns, dass sie auch st\u00e4ndig kosteng\u00fcnstig&nbsp;umher reist. Wir fragen sie nach ihren Social-Media Adressen, doch zu unserem Erstaunen hat sie&nbsp;keine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sie l\u00e4dt uns in den hinteren Teil des Kaffees ein und zeigt uns ein Video. Es ist ein Werbevideo eines Clubs, der weltweit agiert. Man kann Bonuspunkte sammeln, wenn man neue Mitglieder wirbt. Rasch ist uns klar, dass sie versucht uns zu werben. Brunnsparken ist ein kleiner Park, umgeben von Stra\u00dfenbahnhaltestellen und Einkaufszentren. Er liegt noch innerhalb der Kan\u00e4le. Links davon ist ein kleiner Platz mit dem Denkmal von Jonas Alstr\u00f6mer, der als erster in Schweden die Kartoffel in gro\u00dfem Stil anbaute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hafen\"><\/span>Hafen<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Das alte Zollhaus, das heute das Casino Cosmopol beherbergt, das Schiffsmuseum und das Geb\u00e4ude der ehemaligen Schwedischen Ost-Indien-Kompanie zeugen noch heute von der Bedeutung des Hafens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In der Ferne ist eine hohe S\u00e4ule mit einer weiblichen Staue an seiner Spitze zu sehen.
