Da wir die letzten beiden Tage nur wenig Schlaf bekommen haben, ruhen wir uns erst einmal etwas im <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.myvideomedia.com\/de\/hotel-lotus-in-duschanbe\/\">Hotel Lotus<\/a> aus. Erst am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag machen wir uns auf den Weg, die Stadt ein wenig zu erkunden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir fahren in das Stadtzentrum. Nicht zu \u00fcbersehen ist das Rudaki Denkmal. Es wurde zu Ehren von Abu Abdullah Djafar aus Rudak errichtet. Er lebte von 858 bis 940 und wird als Vater der neupersischen Poesie bezeichnet. Am \u00f6stlichen Ende ragt die Ismoili Somoni Statue, gekr\u00f6nt von einem goldenen Bogen in die H\u00f6he. Ismoili Somoni (Abu Ibrahim Ismaili ibn Ahmad) war der Samaniden Emir von Transoxiana und Khorasan. Sie wiegt 300 kg und weht vom zweith\u00f6chsten Flaggenmast der Welt mit 165 m. Ein k\u00fcnstlicher Wasserfall sorgt f\u00fcr k\u00fchlende Temperaturen.
