Um deren Vernichtung vorzubeugen, veranlasste die Admiralit\u00e4t am 16. August 1766 die ersten Einschr\u00e4nkungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Exporthandel mit den Austern wurde f\u00fcr die Zeit von Mai bis August verboten. Noch heute h\u00f6rt man h\u00e4ufig, man solle in Monaten mit &#8222;R&#8220; keine Austern essen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Beschr\u00e4nkung zeigte jedoch wenig Wirkung, so dass nat\u00fcrlichen Vorkommen der Cancaleser Flachauster Mitte des 19. Jahrhundert fast ersch\u00f6pft waren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So begann man 1858 mit den ersten Versuchen, aus Portugal und Japan importierte Felsenaustern zu z\u00fcchten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Austernzucht_heute\"><\/span>Austernzucht heute<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auf einer Fl\u00e4che von 400 ha wird die Pazifische Felsenauster und die Europ\u00e4ische Auster gez\u00fcchtet. Ca. 6000 t werden pro Jahr geerntet.
