Die bereits im 7. Herrliche Mosaike zeugen vom Wohlstand der B\u00fcrger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Stadt besa\u00df neben \u00f6ffentlichen Geb\u00e4uden eine Agora und f\u00fcr die Wasserversorgung eines der \u00e4ltesten Druckleitungssysteme Griechenlands, das durch eine Quelle ca. 8 km n\u00f6rdlich, gespeist wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"407\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.myvideomedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/olynth1.jpg\" alt=\"Olynth - Mosaik\" class=\"wp-image-4022\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.myvideomedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/olynth1.jpg 724w, https:\/\/blog.myvideomedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/olynth1-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Die strategisch g\u00fcnstige Lage konnte die Stadt jedoch nicht vor ihrer mehrmaligen Zerst\u00f6rung sch\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach ihrer Einnahme durch die Perser im 4.
