The Royal Riverside Hoi An Hotel is directly at the river, only approx. 900 m from Hoi An’s Ancient Town.

Location

Upon arrival, we are initially a bit disappointed, as the hotel is a bit out of the way. But what appears to be a disadvantage at first glance, turned out to be a great advantage after we got to know Hoi An a bit. At a leisure walk along the river, you can reach the center in 10 – 15 min. Due to the somewhat remote location, it is very quiet in the evening, because you do not have the noise of the crowds, which move all evening through Hoi An.

The hotel also has a beautiful view of the city and the river.

Service

The staff is very helpful, friendly, always in a good mood, and occasionally ready for a joke with the guests ready.

A huge buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired, is available for breakfast. You can also enjoy your breakfast on the covered terrace.

Facilities

The hotel is fairly new (opening: Spring 2015) and offers a harmonious overall impression. The facilities are modern and up to date.

We particularly like not only the modern standard but also the tastefully selected interior and decoration. Our room has a nice Asian-like design.

The sanitary area is separated by a partition wall with a built-in window. The window can be closed by means of a blind. The wet cells are separated by a frosted glass wall and can be used separately. A free-standing bathtub and a rain shower characterize the overall impression.

All modern equipment is available. Free fast WiFi is available in all areas.

Wellness

In the rear of the Royal Riverside Hoi An Hotel, a large pool with outdoor sun loungers, some even in the water invites you to refresh.

In a separate wellness spa, the guests can enjoy various treatments.

Others

The hotel restaurant offers Vietnamese and Western cuisine.

There is a free bicycle rental for the guests.

A free scheduled shuttle takes guests to the An Bang Beach. The transfer by shuttle to Da Nang Airport or Train Station is more comfortable and cheaper than a taxi.

Summary

The hotel was the best hotel on our entire Southeast Asia trip. We can highly recommend it.
