Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand. So it is not surprising that a distinctive cultural scene has developed here. On one of our walking tours, we pass My Home Guesthouse at the corner of Moon Muang Road Lane 9 and Sripoom Lane 1 Road. In Google Maps, it is still listed as Fruit Pulse Healthy Juice Bar & Cafe.

A young man notices our film equipment and comes to talk to us. He asks whether we would like to film in the evening since there would be live music. We accept spontaneously.
On the way, we see that the international tourists everywhere left their mark, English pubs, German Beer Garden and Paris Restaurant alternate.

After dinner in a small restaurant at Muang Road Lane 9 we arrive on time. In all surrounding bars and cafes, the nightlife awakens.
We concentrate on music which we find very attractive. In the course of the evening, we also learn the name of the band and the musicians.
The band calls itself Sticky Rice Blues.

The band members are Mark the singer, the electric guitar players Yo (in front) and Jack (behind), and the drummer Domino.

More InformationAfter this entertaining evening, we leisurely go back to the Amora Hotel. We notice that the evening has just started in some places. In front of some bars, we see crowds of people entertaining themselves.

We let the colorful light reflections on the water-jump take effect on us.
