The Confederation Bridge is 12.9 km long and thus Canada’s longest bridge.
It connects Prince Edward Island, Canada’s smallest province with the mainland and carries a part of the Trans-Canada Highway. On the bridge there is a speed limit of 80 km, so that the journey across the 12.9 km long toll bridge takes nearly a quarter of an hour.
