Our accommodation in Dushanbe is the Hotel Lotus. Opened in 2014 and makes an appropriately new and well-kept impression. Just one block away is the Green Bazaar. The center of the city is about 15 min walk away, or by taxi within 5 minutes.
From the airport, we reach the hotel within 7 minutes by car.
A high wall and a heavy gate surrounds the Hotel Lotus. This has nothing to do with the security situation. In Tajikistan, it is common to border the grounds with a high wall, because in the warm temperatures life takes place in the inner courtyard.
You can also estimate the age of the hotel by the size of the trees. As soon as they grow larger, the courtyard will be a shady oasis in the middle of Dushanbe.
Next to the entrance is a little elevator. The hotel is barrier-free.
The friendly and helpful staff at the reception, which is manned around the clock, accepts every request immediately.

More InformationOpposite the reception is a dining room. A huge breakfast buffet creates a good mood in the morning.
The clean rooms are spacious and offer every comfort you need. A balcony, TV and free WIFI are self-evident.
A small pool and two saunas are located in the basement. A billiard table and a room with gymnastic equipment complete the offer.
We very much felt at ease in the Hotel Lotus in Dushanbe.
