The next morning in the Safari Yurt Camp, one makes the preparation of the camels and dromedaries to take a ride with the German Austrian group of tourists to the shores of the Aydar Lake.

The number of animals does not suffice for everyone so that the participants must take turns when riding on the 5 km long way.

It takes a lot of getting used to the huge nails that are stuck through the nose of the animals to fasten the bridle to it. But the undemanding and good-natured animals seem to put up with everything.
The participants of the small caravan want to enjoy a bath in Aydarkul. We were there the day before, but one drove us by car to the beach.

More InformationIt is simply a wonderful feeling to bathe in this lake. The water is crystal clear and astonishingly refreshing. Two weeks before, the air temperature in this area was still 50 degrees Celsius. So we have expected rather warm water but it was really invigorating but not cold.
Before we came to Uzbekistan, we could not imagine that one can take such a terrific bath in the midst of the dry desert.

We assume that the passing herd of goats feels very much the same. Apart from them, we have the wonderful sandy beach almost to ourselves.
The experiences on this day are an extraordinary experience!
