Torrey Pines and Black's Beach San Diego

The Torrey Pines and Black’s Beach are right outside the gates of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). The steep sloping cliffs are a perfect area for paragliding and hang gliders.

The steady updraft allows gliding in the air above the beach for hours. Sometimes the sky is so heavily frequented that a casual observer might fear collisions.
