Even at night, the city of Nantes demonstrates, that there are almost no boundaries in terms of creativity.
Decorative richly colored street lamps illuminate the Place Graslin with its opera house, the Theatre Graslin, which is magnificently decorated as well.

More InformationA visit to La Cigale, France’s most beautiful brasserie, is a must. Since 1964 it has been protected as a monument Historique and served several times as a film set, like Jacques Demy’s movie “Lola”.

Across the Rue Crebillon we come to the brightly lit Place Royale with its blue illuminated Fountaine. We pass the passage Pommeraye, which is currently been renovated.

At the Place du Bouffay we marvel at the artwork “Résolution des forces de présence” by Vincent Mauger.

We end our walk at the Cours John Kennedy, where we admire Nymphéa gliding peacefully and quietly in the waters of the Canal Saint-Félix.
Nymphéa is a video projection of the artist Ange Leccia, the undine is played by Laetitia Casta, a well-known French actress and model.
