The Venetian fortress, located high above the town, is the greatest attraction of Parga. In its changeful history, Parga was under the rule of Byzantines, British, Ottomans and Venetians.

From the fortress you have a fantastic view over the old town with the harbor and the offshore islands of Paxos and Andipaxos.
