It is an experience to come close to lions in the wild, like here in the Kruger National Park (Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park) between Satara and Olifants River.

At 100.4 °F in the shade the two lionesses are on the lookout for her companion.

After they have found him they take a rest in the shade of two trees. Of course, separated by gender ;-))
