On the Carinthian side of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is the Pasterze, Austria’s largest glacier; the melt water feeds the power station Kaprun.
The global warming has left its traces on the 5.59234 miles long glacier. Since its peak in 1856, the glacier has lost both area and thickness of more than half.
Our Husky dog is much more interested in the marmots. Only too happy she would play with them – or hunt them?
