The “Café du coin d’en bas de la rue du bout de la ville d’en face du port – La Java” (Café on the corner down the road at the end of the town towards the harbor – La Java) in Saint Malo is definitely the Café with the longest name.

We discovered it by chance while walking through Saint Malo. Unfortunately, the owner was not present but the two waiters told us a bit about the place.

More InformationBut not only the name, also the decor is unique. When you enter the cafe, you do not know where to look first. Dolls as far as the eye can see. The owner is a big fan of dolls. His aunt knew the doll clinic in Rennes.
From there, took over a part of the family collection and over 23 years, he completed the collection during his journeys all over the world. Now, the dolls have a new place in the cafe next to many other things.

You can spend hours here and always discover something new.

We were particularly impressed that many French cultural heritage are hidden in the decoration, such as the Moulin Rouge and the Tour de France.
If you like, you can drink your coffee or wine on a swing at the bar.

We can recommend the visit of this unique cafe in Saint Malo, in the Rue Sainte Barbe, to every visitor of Saint Malo.
It will will surely remain in your memories for a long time!
