Salinenmusikkapelle Altaussee - works' band of the salt mining in Austria

The Salinenmusikkapelle Altaussee is one of the 6 works’ band of the salt mining in Austria.

Every year in August, they perform a park concert followed by the dance of the miners.

Approx. 140 performances annually serve to foster the miner tradition.

The dance of the miners is dedicated to the veneration of St. Barbara, the patron saint of miners.
