The Blade Night Munich is Europe’s biggest night skate event.
In good weather, thousands of skaters meet from May to September on Mondays at 21:00.
The first event takes place on the first Monday in May. Since 1999, the event is organized by the association Green City and the department of sports of the City of Munich.
During the event the streets will be closed for traffic. The rollerbladers can choose between different routes and difficulty levels.

More InformationAt first the spectators can only hear the dull rumble of the skaters until up to 10000 in-line skaters finally roll by. This can last over half an hour.
