Ko Chang, also written Koh Chang, is Thailand’s third-largest island. It lies in the Gulf of Thailand. This part of the Pacific ocean is near the border with Cambodia. The distance to Bangkok is approx. 315 km.
After the driver dropped us off at the ferry to Ko Chang and left us again, we go directly on board. It is a small car ferry that takes us to the other shore.
We never tire of seeing this of the turquoise water and are happy about the beautiful nature. A dense rain forest covers the island and the setting sun makes the air clear and the colors shine.

The counter-ferry meets us halfway.
The ferry crossing takes about 40 minutes. We enjoyed every single minute.
