Flight from FFM over Greenland to Los Angeles

On the flight 1979 from Frankfurt / Main to Los Angeles I crossed Greenland.

I was particularly impressed by the gigantic snow and ice surfaces.

A part has melted already. How long will it be before nothing is left…?
