It is already late in the evening and we are just on our way to our hotel in Saint Malo when we hear the rhythmic sound of drums.
They come from the Bar L’Alchimiste in the immediate vicinity of our hotel.

We sit down at one of the tables outside the door and quickly get into a conversation with nice young people. They are members of the group Flor Carioca, a samba school from Nantes. Some of them entertain guests in the bar with their drums.

More InformationFlor Carioca
The Samba group Flor Carioca was founded in 2011 by three friends with a passion for Samba. The rhythm is inspired by the samba schools in Rio de Janeiro.
The members come from different regions of France. They play not only in the carnival but also on sporting and cultural events. In their performances you can feel the passion and enthusiasm for their hobby.

Unfortunately, they had to leave for another event. We went to the hotel, glad for the unexpected nice encounter.
