It’s already 9.30 p.m. when we return from Gammelstad to Lulea. But at the same time, we have the feeling that it is late afternoon because the sun is still high above the horizon.
It is only a few kilometers drive between Gammelstad to Lulea. Our guide Camilla tells us that Facebook has a data center in Lulea. And of course, we want to see it. Thus she drives a little detour for us.
We can have only a quick look at the gigantic halls because a car of the security company is approaching at high speed. So we prefer to leave fast, as we do not want to get in trouble. We would have loved to see more but unfortunately, this is not allowed.
Then Camilla drives us back to the hotel. On the way, Lulea presents itself in the gleam of the evening sun.
But it is too early to go to bed, so we take a small walk and soon arrive at the Lulea Bay to enjoy the sunset once again. The clear air and the replete colors fascinate us.
