Grubsee and Barmsee – Germany

The Grubsee and Barmsee are two natural lakes east of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the community Krün in Bavaria.

In summer, both lakes are beautiful swimming lakes.

The larger Barmsee invites for extensive walks and bicycle excursions. The unspoilt lakefront, partly overgrown with reed is home for crawfish.

Also our husky she-dog enjoyed this peaceful nature of the Karwendel Mountains in the background.
