More InformationWe had the chance to meet two of the members, Christine Hart D’haen and Gerhard Hirsch, in Saint Malo.

Gerard Hirsch has a passion for old stringed instruments. He plays both Tympanum, a kind of dulcimer from the 11th century, the Nyckelharpa, a fiddle from the 14th century, as well as Celtic harp and Rebec, a precursor of today’s violin.
In order to play the music authentic, Gerhard Hirsch sometimes build musical instruments himself.

Already in earliest childhood, Christine was introduced the old music by her father, a musician. She plays transverse flute and Chalumeau, a woodwind instrument related to our today’s clarinet.
You find the trio Meghan on church concerts, medieval feasts, festivals, receptions, weddings etc.

Their music fits perfectly in the medieval backdrop of Saint Malo and delighted not only us, but also the passers-by.
