The varied landscape with its numerous lakes, forests and meadows is repeatedly interrupted by smaller towns. The southern and central Swedish lakes landscape were dominated mainly by the glaciers of the last ice age. After defrosting of the glaciers, the landscape has lifted to 800 m. Still today, the land masses rise up to 11 mm per year.

We also could catch a glimpse of Sweden’s strong industry in Södertälje. Here is a facility of AB SkandiaTransport.

The closer we get to Stockholm, the denser the settlement. The MRT Express arrives on schedule at the central station, Stockholm Centralen.

Stockholm Centralen is the largest railway station in Sweden and has more than 400,000 visitors per day. The many shops convey the impression you are in a mall..
