Dance and music are integral parts of the Uzbek culture. We would like to take the opportunity to experience this during a live event. The performances normally take place at the Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah, next to our hotel. Unfortunately, the Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah is closed for renovation.

Yet, our travel companion Sirojiddin Hujamuratov from Registon Travel finds out that the event is taking place in another Madrasa and we decide to go there.
We drive, through the city up to the Madari Khan Madrassah, where the dance event takes place.

More InformationDancers in precious clothes perform the traditional dances with artistic movements. They are accompanied by a local orchestra with traditional instruments. Each dancer can show up to 1500 figures per dance. And every dance tells a story of its own.

Between the traditional dances, one presents own collections as part of a fashion show.

The collections look modern, colorful and elegant.

More InformationEven if Uzbekistan presents itself as a Muslim country, the people are modern and open-minded, even to strangers.

If you like, you can also eat something during the show. But we decided to have dinner after the performance.
The show lasts approx. 50 min and is almost fully booked.
