Sun City is a luxury resort approx.150 km north-west of Johannesburg in the former homeland of Bophuthatswana. Heart of the resort is The Palace of the Lost City, one of the Leading Hotels of the World.
This impressive hotel is built in the style of a royal palace. Life-sized animal sculptures, hand-painted ceilings and frescoes demonstrate the attention to detail.
A dome, 12 meters in diameter, with a mosaic of semi-precious stones, crowns the entrance hall. Architecturally, it is kept in African style. As you can see in the video, a tour offers constantly new and interesting perspectives.
