The Palace of the Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. is open for visitors.

After the war of independence against the Dutch was the sultanate of Yogyakarta on the southern coast of Java in Indonesia became the only sultanate of Indonesia. The Palace (Kraton) of Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. is open for visitors.

In the museum you can admire dinnerware of Napoleon Bonaparte. Paintings of court scenes and former rulers, as well as host gifts, including a Black Forest watch – a gift by former Chancellor Helmut Kohl – are also part of the exhibition.
