More InformationOn one side it is very touristy with souvenir shops and restaurants and on the other hand it fascinates with picturesque lanes and cozy old taverns.
In the midst of the city you can even find olive groves. In the Plaka you get an idea of how Athens looked like before it mutated into a major city.
