On the north shore of the Wörthersee, we drive to Pörtschach. Tourism and orchards characterize the landscape.
To the south there is a magnificent view of the Karawanks, a mountain range on the boarder between Austria and Slovenia.

The municipality of Maria Wörth is the second most important place of pilgrimage in Carinthia after Maria Saal. Originally located on an island, now on a peninsula, Maria Wörth is one of the most popular destinations on the Wörthersee.
