The monastery of Wat Tham Pha Mak Ho lies about 30 km south of Loei. Protected by the monks, hundreds of rhesus monkeys live here and wait for visitors to distribute nuts.

It is nice to see that the monkeys show no aggressive behavior.
We observe the nice rhesus monkeys for a while. Then continue to the Huay Nam Man, the Huay Krating Mountain Lake. It is an idyllic crater lake in the nearby mountain.
