The Somerset Lake Point Bangkok, located in the district Sukhumvit, is a serviced apartment house.
Each apartment has a living and sleeping area as well as a kitchen.
We choose this accommodation during TBEX (Travel Bloggers Conference) since it is only a few hundred meters away from the venue, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Otherwise, we would have to traverse Bangkok 2 times a day, which would have taken each time 1 to 1.5 hours. In addition, it offers the opportunity to get to know the district Sukhumvit better.

The Somerset Lake Point Bangkok is a building complex with the apartment house in the center. It also includes a number of restaurants and cafes, a convenience store, which is open 24 hours, a fitness center, a kindergarten and a pool area.
The apartments have a fast Internet connection and the usual communication devices, such as telephone and television. The kitchen is fully equipped with the necessary utensils. A special highlight for us is that a washer-dryer is also included. The necessary washing powder is free.
Another advantage of the hotel is a Tuk-Tuk shuttle service to the nearest metro (MRT and Skytrain) or the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, which is of course very convenient for us.
Last but not least, the view from the upper floors is quite interesting.
