The Spirit Way (shéndào – 神道) is part of the mausoleum complex of the Ming Emperor near Beijing. One enters the complex through the dragon and phoenix gate.

The 1540 scale 800 m long Spirit Way is flanked by paired larger-than-life animals, mystical figures and officials made of stone.

In the stele pavilion, a 6.5 m high stele stands on a stone turtle with inscriptions of Hongxi, the fourth emperor of the dynasty. It describes the grave plant of his father, who had selected the valley.
