The traditional Cham dance in My Son is part of the cultural heritage of the Champa.

In the entrance area of the My Son sanctuary is a stage, where the visitors can watch the performances free-of-charge.
The Cham culture in My Son is characterized by Hinduism, which at that time extended from India to Southeast Asia.
Hinduism found its precipitation not only in its architecture, which was largely destroyed by the effects of war, but also in music, its instruments, and its dances.

A small group of committed artists gives us a lively picture of a part of the Cham culture.
In most dances, Shiva and Apsaras take center stage. But the Carrying Water Dance also addresses everyday life.

The graceful movements of the dancers require a hard physical training. The melodious music played on specially designed instruments, harmoniously underscores the dance.

The traditional Cham dance is offered only again since 2003.
