Velden am Wörthersee is one of the most famous and popular tourist resorts of Carinthia.
The place became well-known by the television series “Ein Schloss am Wörthersee” with Roy Black. The setting for the Austrian-German TV production, the Schloss Velden had lost its purpose after the opening of new casinos in 1989.
