After leaving the Cape Town District, one crosses Overberg, which means as much as “behind the mountain” of the Hottentots Holland mountain range.
This is followed by the Eden District, named after the Garden of Eden. The road runs along the Karoo, a semi-desert landscape.
Who finds himself unexpectedly in front of the sign of Heidelberg, hasn’t lost his way. The name suggests that the place was founded by emigrants from Heidelberg in Germany.

We reach the coast at Moselle Bay and experience again spectacular beaches.
But when bathing one should be careful, because not only the man loves this coast, but also the great white shark.

This landscape is characterized by numerous lagoons that extend far in the hinterland.
Villages, such as Knysna, were founded at the lagoons. Finally we reach our destination Plettenberg Bay
