Sightseeing by Tuk-Tuk in Avila - Spain

Seeing a Tuk-Tuk in Avila surprises us. While looking for a mean of transportation to the viewpoint of Cuatro Postes, we speak to the driver Julio and arrange an appointment.

Later we discover an information display at the Puerta del Alcazar, in front of Residencia Tellamar in the San Segundo street. Here you can choose the departure time and enter your name. This ensures that you can get a Tuk-Tuk at a certain time.

As we visit the viewpoint Cuatro Postes several times and are not always ready to walk with our film equipment, we are glad using this service. So we can enjoy Avila in the sunshine and in the dark.

At the viewpoint, at the southern city wall, we get a free concert. The orchestra is practicing for the upcoming Semana Santa.

Usually, the Tuk-Tuk tour leads to all important sights of Avila but individual arrangements are possible anytime. Our driver Julio is friendly, punctual and open to meet our wishes.

He also gave us the hint of the second viewpoint, north of the Cuatro Postes. We like to take this opportunity and again thank him for his good service.

Unfortunately, the film shots during the ride are quite shaky. This is not due to the Tuk-Tuk but to the cobblestone streets usual in Spain.

There is also a regular bus service to the Cuatro Postes. The bus stop is at Plaza San Vicente in front of the Basilica de San Vicente.

But a tour with the Tuk-Tuk in Avila is more fun!
