Back at the reception, we now get to know the other bloggers and influencers, with whom we will spend a few beautiful and eventful days in Marina di Venezia and the surroundings.
Miki Barone, also part of the management team already accompanied us on our arrival to our bungalow. Now Massimo Battaglio, Client Manager and Managing Director joins us. After a warm welcome, we learn how he came to Marina di Venezia.

After his university studies, he worked for 6 years in his hometown in South Tyrol. He had had a job on Marina in his student life for already three years, and finally, he changed completely and has now been managing director for 13 years. He speaks Italian perfectly and masters German, and also English.
Marina di Venezia offers 3,000 pitches on 80 hectares and 300 accommodation units for 12,000 people at the same time. It counts more than one million overnight stays per season.
As a resort destination, the camping village Marina di Venezia received 5 stars. And it is well integrated into the commune by Cavallino Treporti. Some producers deliver food, other companies provide services. Also, many restaurants profit from the guests. The municipality strives for its part very much to improve the excursion possibilities for the guests. One renovated old forts, will create further bike paths, etc.
Besides, Marina di Venezia offers up to 500 seasonal jobs.

More InformationMarco Mainardi, the general manager of Marina di Venezia, has joined us in the meantime, too.
After the first introduction, we change to a conference room. Here we receive information about the Marina and about Cavallino Treporti. Afterward, one shows us excellent films produced by Miki. First, a commercial, showing the Marina and then a timelapse film showing the construction from autumn 2017 to spring 2018. It was filmed with 6 cameras at the same time.

During this time, the entire central area, the Listón, was completely rebuilt on the occasion of its 60th anniversary. Bright friendly shops and restaurants along the wide promenade invite you to stroll and linger. At the end of the promenade, there is a big stage and the water park.
It was an outstanding achievement to do this in just 6 months.
Marina di Venezia is divided into different areas. There is a normal camping area, where you can rent pitches without reservation, as long as something is free. Another area can only be booked after prior reservation. Other areas contain different types of bungalows.

Important is a large area for dog owners who camp in a separate section, but there is also a large exercise area and a beach section where dogs are allowed. Even a veterinary hospital and veterinarians worry about the welfare of the little darlings.

Child-friendly washing facilities and playgrounds, as well as slides and children’s animations, make the place very family-friendly. Another area is permanently leased to third-party providers and tour operators.

The camping village is extremely clean and well maintained. Many shady trees and hedges create a pleasant micro climate and small niches. This makes the campsite appear not as huge as it actually is.
Now, Alberto Enzo, Technical Office Responsible, has also joined us.

Many leisure activities such as windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or stand up paddling lessons and rentals, as well as a scuba diving school and a nearby golf course will make your stay enjoyable.
Disabled toilets and baby changing room, as well as children’s facilities, integrate all parts of society.
After so much theory, we are keen to get a personal impression of the camping village Marina di Venezia (own article and video).
