The highlight of the first evening in the Marina di Venezia is the show of the worldwide known magician and illusionist Erix Logan.
But after the official welcome, it is time for an Aperitivo, typical for Italy. We go to the restaurant Passatempo, located in the central area, the Listón.
Here we can watch how Kristian prepares a Spritz. Spritz consists of Prosecco, soda, a slice of orange, ice cubes and bitters. As bitters, we have the choice between Campari, Aperol or Select, a specialty from Venice.
Those who like it very bitter, opt for the variant with Campari, those who like it a little sweeter decide in favor of the variant with Aperol.
We choose Spritz with Select, which is right in the middle.
Of course, the processes are extensively documented. Then one serves us some appetizers. Even if we go straight to dinner, they belong to the Aperitivo.
Luciano the boss and the managing director of the Passatempo comes to say hello and then he watches the action from the background.
Sandro will later take care of our physical well-being in the restaurant.
As time goes by, we take our drinks with us and switch to the restaurant Piazza Marina, from where we have a good overview of the stage. Piazza Marina has 600 seats and serves more than 1000 pizzas per evening. But, we eat a delicious meat dish with Gorgonzola, since there will be fish the next days.
On the stage, the children are dancing and singing.
Illusionist Show – Erix Logan
But then Sara Maya, since 2005 married to Erix Logan, opens the show. Erix Logan is a native Italian. Today, he and Sara live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Erix Logan spent some years in Helsinki (Finland), Seoul (South Korea) and Fukuoka (Japan), where he refined his skills.
The show is fascinating. You quickly notice that Erix Logan has a penchant for perfectionism. Every grip and step is perfect.
At the end of the show, Miki presents and introduces the participants one by one. Miki is also a professional on stage. No wonder, because he too has some years of stage experience.
