The Calmont is a ridge between the villages Bremm and Edinger-Eller at the Moselle.

The Calmont rises steeply beyond Germany’s most beautiful Moselle meanders and is considered one of the steepest vineyards in the world. At an altitude of 365 m is a viewing platform with the so-called summit cross, which was erected in 1970 as a memorial.
