The Casual Sevilla de Las Letras lies in the midst of the old town of Seville. It was important to us that the sights are within walking distance. So we booked this hotel because it is just 10 minutes’ walk from the cathedral.

More InformationIt is certainly not a 5 star hotel, but lovingly decorated and equipped with all necessary comforts. Wi-Fi is available free of charge, but in countries outside Germany that goes without saying.

The special thing about the Casual Sevilla de Las Letras is its furnishings. Dating from the 1920s, the hotel was completely renovated two years ago. The whole interior is dedicated books. Upon entering the reception deck catches the eye. It was built up with books. Also legs and feet of tables and lamps are made of books.

The walls are papered with real book pages. At various points, bookshelves or pencils are painted on the walls or real ones are fixed. There are sofas and bookshelves for reading even in the corridor.

All rooms are dedicated to literature and books. We stayed in a room with motifs from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s little prince.

In addition to single and double rooms, the hotel also has triple and quadruple rooms.

Two courtyards provide shade and offer space to linger. For sun-seekers a sun terrace is available, where you can also have breakfast.

In parts without elevator you find a stair lift. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.

The price-performance ratio is very good. We were completely satisfied with our stay at Casual Sevilla de Las Letras. It was the ideal starting point for our city walks.
