Each year, approximately 3 million people visit the Christmas market on the Marienplatz.

In 2019 the Christmas market on the Marienplatz in Munich opens on Nov 27. Up to Dec 24 it is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. bis 9:00 p.m and Sunday from 10:00 am to 8:00 p.m.

On the last day, Dec 24 the Munich Christmas Market is open from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.
