Evenia Olympic Resort - venue of TBEX Catalunya 2015

The hotel complex Evenia Olympic Park in Lloret de Mar consists of several individual hotels, including the Hotel Olympic Garden and the Hotel Olympic Suites.

We have booked the Olympic Garden, since it is also the venue for the TBEX Catalunya 2015.

On our arrival we experience the first positive surprise, the hotel upgraded us to a suite in the Evenia Olympic Suites. We have 2 rooms and primarily sufficient space for our film and IT equipment. Smoking is also permitted on the balcony.

The rooms are comfortable, very clean and above all equipped with sufficient electrical outlets. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hosts spoiled us with food and drink, all of best quality.

But we are here to attend the TBEX, the travel blogger conference. During the next days we attended a number of top-class presentations.

Of particular importance are tips about available tools to facilitate daily life of a travel blogger. Equally important are the many contacts which one makes almost automatically during the conference. The contacts with the industry are established by a speed networking, among others powered by Blogger Bridge.

However, we do not agree with everything that is being taught. If Europeans is only recommended to publish in English and to waive a 2 language, then the presentation was not worth the time. Of course the TBEX is a little USA-weighted, perhaps Americans should make a little more thoughts about the European mentality.

In the evening there’s a lot of fun at a party in the pool area, where especially the young women have their joy in dancing. The exchange of experiences with other bloggers is extremely valuable.

Unfortunately due to lack of time, we couldn’t experience the other leisure activities offered by the hotel such as the spa or disco.
