Already on our first visit of the neighborhood of La Latina, we decided to return in the evening. We take the metro to Station Toledo and roam the surrounding streets.
Especially the Calle de Toledo, Calle Cava Baja and the Cava de San Miguel offer a wide range of Taparias, bars and tavernas.

A staircase leads through an archway to the Nivea Plaza Mayor, where you also find yourself in the middle of several restaurants. But in La Latina you can eat at a better price than at Plaza Mayor.
Fascinating are for us are the lovely glazed tile pictures that adorn the house façades and shine particularly beautiful at light of the street lamps.
