The TBEX is finished, or rather almost over, because there is still a Post-TBEX Tour. We have registered to go to Banyoles and get to know the sights and unique features of the region. Our blog trip is themed “Live The History”.

We reach the agreed meeting point and wanted to get into one of the buses, but the TBEX organizers had made a different choice. Before we start our tour, we had to make a small hike. Our Tour Guides of Banyoles were also surprised by this decision.

La Dona Marinera and Castillo de San Juan
So we visit again the La Dona Marinera and the Castillo de San Juan in Lloret de Mar, which we had already visited 2 days earlier. However, we can make some very nice settings from the beach, while the warp of mist disappeared and the morning sun coming through.

Then we go on, however, in a different direction.
Punta de Fenals
We walk to Punta de Fenals, the beach of Fenals. Thus getting to know another lovely sandy beach of Lloret de Mar.

We enjoy a coffee in the shade and soak up the atmosphere of the beach.
By bus to Banyoles
A bus is already waiting to bring us to Banyoles. Outside the town of Lloret, the bus drives on the motorway in the direction of the Girona and then through a green hilly country on the road to Banyoles.

Banyoles lies half way between Pyrenees and the sandy beaches of the Costa Brava.
