More than 2 months passed already that we are on tour in Southeast Asia and our curiosity for new destinations is satisfied for the time being. That’s why we decided to spend the rest of our journey at leisure on the island of Ko Chang.
A wonderful beach invites for swimming and walking. You see long swings attached to the palm trees everywhere. They are very popular here.
After exploring the complex of the Paradise Resort & Spa* with its beautiful pool and the loungers shaded by trees, we decide to walk to the next headland.
We pass a magnificent bay that serves boats as a mooring and arrive at a jetty. Sacred fish are regularly fed here and thus frolicking in large numbers in front of the jetty. We hope they know, where the protected area ends because the fishermen are not far away.
A small rock rises at the end of the spit of land. We climb up and can overlook large parts of the island from here.
A thick rain forest covers the hilly landscape. This is a paradise not only for people but also for birds. A lot of crabs are in the waves of the rocky coast.
We enjoy the play of color of the sunset and watch the fishermen who pursue their profession.
In harmony with nature and the people, we would like to have stayed here longer.
