The Parliament Hill Ottawa is the most popular attraction of the city.

In 1857, Ottawa was determined by Queen Victoria as capital of the “United Provinces of Ontario and Quebec”.

The expansion to the capital progressed rapidly and was crowned by the building of the parliament building in Neo-Gothic style.
The government district is dominated by the Peace Tower.
