In Xian, we visit the Tang Dynasty Show, which takes place in the theater of the same name. You can combine a visit to the theater with dumpling dinner.
The colorful show tells the story of a concubine at the time of the Tang Dynasty, who later became empress herself.
At that time, Xian, known as Chang’an, was the capital of the Chinese Empire. With over a million inhabitants, it was the largest city in the world at that time. Presumably, the story of Empress Wu Zhao (690-705), also known as Wu Zetian, is told here. She is said to have slowly poisoned Emperor Tang Gaozong.
She murdered her firstborn son and several people, yet she seemed to have been popular with Buddhists, the secret police, and large sections of the people.
In the video, you see the following scenes :
– Instrumental Music: The king of ever
– White mimic cloth dance
– Rainbow costume dance
– Warriors triumphed dance
– Happy spring outing
Pin it for later
