The Villa Eureka is the best preserved colonial villa in Mauritius.
The villa was built by English settlers in 1830 in the style of French colonial architecture and has approximately 1000 square meters with 14 rooms.
The main building is now a museum with many antiques from the colonial era.
Here you get a glimpse into the lives of the rich plantation owners.
Every room has access to the impressive veranda around the entire building.
A restaurant with Creole specialties invites you to linger. During our stay a wedding just took place.
