Hohenwerfen Castle in Austria, 25 miles south of Salzburg, is a fantastic scenery for impressive flight shows of falconers, primarily with indigenous birds of prey.
The video shows how Peregrine, Golden Eagle, Bald Eagle, Milan and even Lammergeier glide aesthetically and unerringly through the air.
The bird of prey flying demonstrations are organized by the Salzburg Falconry Center and take place daily from April until October.
In Hohenwerfen Castle you also find the First Austrian Falconry Museum.
